The Black Horse, Fulmer, Buckinghamshire

Unlike many Golf Studios in the surrounding towns and counties, we are unique in that we have an established and traditional English pub on the grounds, meaning you will never want for anything during your visit.

The Black Horse, in the sleepy village of Fulmer, is nestled between Gerrards Cross and Pinewood Studios.

The 17th Century craftsman’s cottage has gradually been extended, forming a charming country pub full of nooks and crannies to while away cold winter days in front of one of our open fires.

Our aim is simple, we like to showcase the amazing produce of our suppliers.

From 28-day aged ‘melt in the mouth’ fillet steak to our tradional roast beef to rival your Gran’s.

We use day boat caught fish and shell fish to make our crispy beer battered fish and chips,
and at the weekend, specials like whole lobster.

We’ve spent many hours selecting a wine list which showcases some truly amazing wines and with 70% of the list available by glass and carafe, offer real value for money.

Our pub has all the charms of a classic country pub, real open fires, well kept beers and home cooked food with modern day luxuries of wi-fi and comfy seating.

Oh, and most importantly, we are dog friendly!

With a restaurant renowned for serving specialties such as sticky ribs and homemade 8oz burgers, crispy beer battered fish, sea bass, turbot and whole fresh lobster caught in the morning and delivered fresh that day, the pub is a very popular venue for affordable quality cuisine with locals and guests alike.

Enjoy you golf lesson and our state of the art golf simulators whilst samples the home cooked cuisine.

Our wide range of seasonal foods, simple yet exciting with the finest ingredients and locally sourced produce, bears testament to the fact that good food is a Black Horse ‘passion’.

The Black Horse, Fulmer, boasts some truly amazing wines from a variety of different regions around the globe, always offering exceedingly good value and choice.

In addition, we serve a number of Cask Ales, Ciders and Lagers and occasionally we will feature some guest ales for your appreciation.

Enjoy a drink in our 17th Century surroundings  or take the time to enjoy our outside garden and seating area, allowing the whole family to sit in one place.

In these testing times, The Black Horse (and the Virtual Golf Lounge) has taken the bull by the horns and invested in COVID safe eating pods.

Furthermore, in March 2020, we officially opened the doors to The Farm Shop in our renovated barn to the rear of the pub.

This offers a wide range of fresh, high quality local produce – from fruit & veg to meat and dairy, rustic breads and pastries and much more.
